Who I am and what do I do?

I am an author, trainer, facilitator, and emotionally intelligent leadership coach with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and organisations across education, health, business, and public services.

My professional background includes teaching, senior leadership, special educational needs, youth work, and adult learning.

I have worked with children, young people, and adults of all ages, and I bring this breadth of experience into every course, workshop, and coaching relationship I offer.

I am the author of Becoming Emotionally Intelligent, and my work focuses on helping people communicate more clearly, manage conflict constructively, navigate change with awareness, and take conscious responsibility for how they think, act, and lead. Through bespoke training programmes and one-to-one or team coaching, I support professionals in creating emotionally intelligent environments where individuals and organisations can truly thrive.

am also a Compassionate Inquiry–informed coach. This approach recognises that many of the patterns, beliefs, and behaviours we struggle with in adult life are rooted in early experiences where our needs were not fully seen, heard, or met. I support clients to gently uncover and release layers of emotional constriction, suppressed feelings, and early conditioning held in the body. Healing happens when we feel safe in relationship, connected to our bodies, our breath, and the present moment. At the heart of this work is the understanding that we all long to be seen, understood, and accepted. When we reconnect with ourselves in this way, we are able to access our vulnerability, express what is true for us, and move towards greater freedom, clarity, and emotional wellbeing.

My spiritual self: I have a Guru whom I met 20 years ago; his name is Paramahamsa Vishwananda. In my own life, I have practiced yoga and meditation for the past 20 years. I also teach Awaken Your Potential Meditation through both face-to-face classes and online sessions.
